● Establish personal contact with venture capital (VC) funds, trade fairs and banks to identify potential investments
● Conduct an initial screening based on financing phase, background, company location and level of financing
● Research existing shareholders, e.g., which venture capitalists have already invested in the company?
● Make an initial evaluation of profit potential and competitive position
● Visit the company, compile and prepare supporting documents for the V+ funds
● Determine the level of investment together with the V+ funds
● Monitor the funding and the development of the company post-investment
● Maintain direct person-to-person contact with a representative of the company post-investment
● Compile and prepare updates on the portfolio companies for marketing (newsletter and news page on the website)
● Prepare speeches or talks for individual company directors (e.g., for events)
● Serve as point of contact between sales for the V+ funds and the companies through the mail service
